It's become common to assume fallacious logic that Ayurvedic medicines have no side effect. What's proof for that? Even if some traditional medicines don't have such effects, what's guarantee that every small trader who is making these mixtures in his backyard is following hygiene and required procedural practices?
Any concoction made of vegetables , bones, trees, mud, minerals can't be Ayurvedic. If that's true, which Allopathic medicines is not Ayurvedic medicine. All have some kind of mineral, plant and animal extracts, yes, but scientifically proven. Religion and tradition are turning into tools of convenience in hand of fraudsters.
There has been in recent months flood of new TV channels calling themselves News or spiritual Channels but in practice running marketing campaigns for variety of magical remedies. They sell all kind of rejuvenating medicines in name of Ayurveda. Their Ayurvedic packs are projected as religiously sanctioned medicines which have no side effect. They even openly call public to avoid modern medicines.
How these people can sell medicines on TV under which law? It's illegal to sell medicines like that. These marketing programmes on television channels selling these medicines are generally laced with religious symbols and mantras to attract and fool gullible public.
For a proven modern medicine, it takes sometimes 10-20 years to get sanctions and approvals to come to market that too on prescription. Here we are giving every tom open license to sell any concoction in name of Ayurveda!!. How and where they prepare these medicines and who approves them? Stop this.
