Will #StrandedOil eventually become a requirement than a fear - a positive? What if energy firms start letting expensive and difficult oil strand and start diverting investment to renewable energy? Though these thoughts, widely under discussions currently, may become true for country neutral big multinationals having large pools of discovered oil and business alternatives for renewable. This will not be true for national oil companies in emerging nations where priorities of bearing the responsibility towards contributing to fast national progress are paramount. Here meeting immediate demands for energy required for accelerating uplifting of underdeveloped society will matter more. The demand for fossil-fuel may eventually fall somewhere in future while demand for energy keeps growing and renewable becomes more affordable and available...

Let them shun modern medicine and go to heaven with pride of experimenting their jingoism!!
How does someone who couldn't bear couple of days of fasting and had to, in emergency, take shelter of modern medicines in a hospital equipped fully with western designed machines, speak against those 'khataranaak chemicals' to sell products from his own dukaan.
Why shouldn't it be matter of pride and integrity for all those who openly support and concur to someone selling products by only invoking jingoism and denigrating competition instead of scientifically explaining its qualities, to shun using all modern technological innovations including medicines and stopping queuing at local street clinics, pharmacies and crowding the hospitals for their cancers, broken limbs, dengue, crashing of their levers and blocked hearts, for their falling teeth, malaria, typhoids, for managing deadly diabetes, even coughs, for surviving polio and poxes, even for new contact lenses, for glaucoma, stroke and thousands more.
They must keep head high after all.
For those who miss out a deserving elevation in the organisation
All those who think they deserve but could not find place in the promotion list, must know that it’s merely present management’s selection of what they think suits them for achieving what aims they envision for the organisation during the period of ability they command. It is no way a measure of your competence. And they have the right, being at helm. Your true worth is not in acquiring some designation of some organisation but is in what you are.
Life is in what we achieve in real and by ourselves in terms of happiness not what someone sitting on false elevation doles out in charity or reward of service.
Building career in an organisation could be many a times merely running on some narrow lane jostling with incompetent and unqualified ones which is not a race that would measure your true worth. World is wide and life engages broadly with society where you would be valued for what you are.
Yours is specialised professional skill which has immense value for the organisation but some people when they become management think that this service would be anyway available to them because you would be compulsorily providing it out of your professional obligation and commitment which goes beyond your organisation. Hence incentivising your performance can be easily dispensed with and is not a priority for them.
