Using Sanskrit quotes does seal arguments in India

In India, Sanskrit is used to give any proposition a finality, -QED-, without having to argue for rationality.

Why does one need to intersperse speech with sanskrit quotes to appear wise and superior?

Babas having known substantial influence over hoi polloi, owe it chiefly to their ability of quoting sanskrit texts on the go.

Many politicians, also, use this proven tool to wash away any trace of reasoning among their followers.

Sanskrit is rare language, not everyone understands. Sanskrit literature too is not read by most of us. But those who want to, can always do so. Like, most of us have not studied books on oncology or neurology or quantum physics. And those who did study these book, can possibly claim superiority over those who have not.

It's just someone knows something and others know something different..
