Dogmatising the statement that those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it, is to perpetually keep those condemned for more defeats and subjugations who had defeats and subjugations as part of their long history.
Stop glorifying your past or crying over what your ancestors failed to repel or achieve. Stop anyone goading you to weaponise memory against yourself.
Look ahead and reinvent yourself if you want to be a winner and fit of any worth. Only fittest would ultimately SURVIVE for future, the rest would condemn themselves into abyss of self conjured history.
