Relax, India was developing fast even before 2014

Most of the nations, which came into existence during the period India led the struggle to remove colonial powers and won, perished for want of effective and cohesive leadership. We were lucky to have visionary leaderships from every walk of political and social space which collectively ensured that during most difficult nascent time of our coming into existence India not just survived but emerged as strong country.
There was time not very long ago when crossing 50 years of age on average for an Indian was not common. Malnutrition and poverty was rampant. You can recall how many of the people known to you in older generations had suffered from smallpox and other ailments. And now remember that very leadership you call weak thought of giving precedence to modern farming, dams , steel plants, world class medical and technical education and to science and technology despite all odds.
It takes about 40 - 50 years of gestation to master nuclear and space technology. If those days in early fifties we had not started baby feet in that direction what rockets and bombs we could talk about today.
Relax. Look ahead with all thanks to the strong foundation our founders left for us. And also remember that they were all elected like any of the present day leaders and had won repeated mandate to lead and govern several times over. Present govt may also have good intentions for welfare of this country but that can be praised independently of blaming the past. This would earn respect.
The fake news channels and portals often quoted to support idiotic arguments that India started developing from 2014 only , brings more damage to us than any enemy would ever because these are gnawing at fundamentals of our unity and creating chasms among people. This is exactly what our adversaries would like us to indulge.
